Station 9 Storm Damage

Back to Photos

TOn April 15th, 2007, a very strong thunderstorm came through Coleridge and took our roof with it.  Luckily, the fire department was constructed with a flat roof before the A-frame roof was built at a later date, which in turn saved us from a lot of the major storm damage.  Although there was still some water damage to the station, we never stopped responding to emergency calls.  Before long we had a new roof on the building and we were back on our feet.  This just goes to show that even fire departments are prone to disaster.
