MyHome Wi-Fi
Starting at $4.99
WI-FI is no longer an optional "EXTRA" for most homes and businesses. It has become a critical component of the connectivity. Just think about how many devices you are using in your home or business. Stop fighting with your wireless network and battling device connectivity. There are so many things that can interfere with your signal.
*Required with any Internet package.
Static IP
$7.50
Static IP address is an IP address that doesn't change. It is useful if you host a website from home, have a file server in your network, are using networked printers, are running a print server, or if you use a remote access program. Because a static IP address never changes, other devices always know exactly how to contact a device that uses one. One time fee for installation and setup is $90.

Internet only plans do not require a phone line. Internet only plans require Inside Wire Maintenance and MyHome WI-FI. MyHome WI-FI is required for all bundles. The unlimited plan is for voice calls terminating within the continental U.S. (excludes Hawaii & Alaska) only. Calls not included in the Unlimited packages will be billed at tariff rates. Installation does not include inside wiring or telephone jacks. Fiber does not keep your phone on when the power is out. A battery backup will supply power for a period of time. Additional battery back-ups are available for purchase. Additional base unit(8hr) is $110.94, Flex Battery(4hr) is $53.47/ea. Speeds listed are maximum attainable download and upload speeds and are best effort delivered through a wired connection to the customer premise. Actual speeds may vary depending upon a variety of factors, many of which are related to the environment at the customer premise and the customer owned devices connecting to the broadband service such as wireless, device capabilities, number of devices and interferences all impact internet speed connections. For best performance use a hardwired connection.

While many communications providers brag about utilizing "fiber" in their networks, unless they provide it all the way to the home, they do not compare. Randolph Communications is providing High Speed fiber optics all the way to your home with Fiber Connect. Fiber to the home (FTTH), or Randolph Fiber, is the delivery of a communications signal over fiber optics to a home or business. This fiber will replace the existing copper infrastructure such as telephone wires and coax cable. Fiber to the home is a method of providing higher bandwidth to consumers and businesses, which enables more robust video, Internet and voice services.
Connecting homes directly to fiber optic cable enables large improvements in the bandwidth that can be provided to consumers. Current fiber optic technology can provide two-way transmission speeds of up to 1000 megabits per second. Further, as cable router and internet providers are struggling to squeeze increments of higher bandwidth out of their technologies, ongoing improvements in fiber optic equipment are constantly increasing available bandwidth without having to change the fiber. That’s why fiber networks are said to be “future proof.”
Randolph Communications Cooperative territory spans over seven counties, which means we serve 534.46 square miles of rural communities. Our goal has always been and continues to be providing the best customer service to our customers with the most advanced technology.
Some companies choose not to provide Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) to their customers. However, that is not the case at Randolph Communications. Your Cooperative believes in you having the best. Did you know that 16,007 addresses already have fiber by them at this time? We still have a ways to go so your patience is important.
To summarize our fiber plan, your Cooperative began constructing transport fiber in 1998. In 2011, we put the plow in high gear to really ramp up our FTTH efforts. To date, we have invested over $69 Million in our fiber plant. Will it take time to get to everyone? Yes. How soon will the Coop be 100% fiber fed? We are 94% complete. These remaining areas are completed using the following criteria: service issues, distance from a wire center (which impacts what speed you can get over copper) and if customers are willing to pay for additional advanced services. We know you need high-speed internet for your jobs, for your children’s school work, for medical needs, or even for entertainment purposes.
We are working very hard and are committed to having fiber throughout our territory. This is why our non-member areas like Spies, Chatham County, Sanford, Silk Hope and El Dorado are so important. The monthly revenues that come in from non-members support the fiber build within our Cooperative footprint. We would love to have 20 construction crews and be finished in two years, but that is not feasible.
Rural America deserves the same technological services that are available in metropolitan areas. Rural America cannot be left behind and your Coop is doing everything we can to bridge the digital divide in our areas.
FIBER OPTIC CABLE ADDITIONS: The chart below is based on the dollar amount that was spent on Fiber Optic Cable additions.
WI-FI is no longer an optional "EXTRA" for most homes. It has become a critical component of the connectivity. Outdated wireless routers can lower your signal to drop or even slow down your connection speed. Just think about how many devices you are using in your home. Stop fighting with your wireless network and battling device connectivity.
Our new MyHome WI-FI Router will support higher internet speeds. It will give you better performance while using your many internet connected devices. You will get the best possible online experience on every device no matter where you are in your home.
Less WI-FI interferences:
WI-FI interferences can cause slower performance from your WI-FI network. Our routers are multi band to eliminate WI-FI interferences. 2.4GHz offers coverage at further distances. It should be used for low bandwidth activities like browsing the internet. 5GHz provides less coverage but it transmits data at faster speeds. It is best suited for high-bandwidth devices or activities like gaming and streaming TV.
Best for Gaming & Streaming:
These routers are built to handle higher bandwidths which are great for gaming and streaming.
Long Range Capability:
Do you have an outbuilding or a shop that would like WI-FI or a hardwired connection (or both), then as long as the power to outbuilding is fed from the home meter base we can plug in a Powerline Adapter and you will get access to your WI-FI connection.
Multiple Devices:
Our MyHome WI-FI can support multiple WI-FI devices at the same time.
*Required with all Internet packages. For best performance use a hardwired connection.
